*** ARTICLES ***
If you are a motivated writer or a talented photographer, we would love to hear from you. The Paris Times publishes one long feature each month (1,500 words), a profile (800 words), shorter informative pieces (500 - 800 words), and reviews (300-500 words). We are looking for articles on local news, feature stories, criticism, profiles and essays, as well arts and cultural schedules that relate to life in Paris.
Proposals for articles should be submitted by email to editor.
You will receive a notice of acceptance/rejection within 15 days. The deadline for submission of finished articles is the 10th of every month. Any article received after that deadline means that its publication would be delayed until the next edition of the paper.
Articles will be edited for accuracy of fact, length and defamatory material. The Paris Times has a tight turn-around process—if you wish to view your article post-editing, please make sure it is submitted 10 days before deadline at the latest, and that this request is clearly stated. You will need to maintain email correspondence to view your work after editing and before publication. Please note that a non-response will be considered as consent to proceed with the edited version.
Acceptance of a proposal or submission of an article does not guarantee its publication—the editor retains the right to request rewrites or to reject a piece at any stage. The Editor's decision is final.
